Two friends I’m especially proud of right now
I want to take some time this week to call out two friends. Tyler King and Zack Zitsos have demonstrated exceptional leadership during this difficult time.
Tyler is the co-founder and CEO of Less Annoying CRM (LACRM), a bootstrapped software-as-a-service company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Balancing both realism and inspiration, Tyler rolled out a revised multi-year plan that ensures all LACRM employees will keep their job through this crisis and even if we experience an economic recession. You can read more about Tyler’s transparent approach here.
Zack is an operator at Showmars, a family Greek food restaurant chain based in Charlotte, North Carolina. To retain workers and serve the community, Showmars started offering home grocery delivery in addition to prepared meals. Leveraging the restaurant food supply chain, they are providing local customers with items in bulk, including meats, seafood, dairy, dry goods, bread, fresh produce, frozen produce, and beverages. They also have household items like toilet paper and paper towels. You can check out more about what he and Showmars are up to here.
Both Tyler and Zack acted fast and without ego to address serious concerns and to take care of their stakeholders.
I’m proud of them both.
